HOWTO: logical AND / OR in your smart playlists in iTunes

so i was sitting in class bored out of my mind and i thought: "how can i do a logical AND or OR with a smart playlist in itunes?".

i did some googling and found out this idea is not original bu i though i'd make my own post on it anyways.

so i want a playlist that combines my "recently added" AND "purchased" playlists OR "high rated".

this means that i get all the songs that i've bought recently plus all of my high rated music.

the way to do this is to create a smart playlist like this for the AND part



and then another one like this for the OR part



and then you're done.

btw, the possibilities are endless and up to your imagination
